- Christine Tarantino, an American Fluxus and Concept artist, creates visio-textual art as well as performance/event art. Her visio-textual art includes: concrete/visual poetry; collage, using organic/found materials; mail art, a global artist network of collaborations and correspondence in which art moves through mail as its medium; and artist books, unique and small editions of original writings/images in artistic book-related structures. Her performance/event art consists of creatively planned or spontaneous, short or long-term, moments and actions of documented artistic engagement. Tarantino creates intermedia works with the energy, ideas, and materials she has at THE MOMENT. Her focus is innovation and experimentation; with primary interests in forces of nature, meditation, and poetic intention.
